Yes, you heard right, be a professional beach bum traveling the world to test beaches, drink wine, and occasionally get a massage under the girly/brainless magazine Amelia.

  1. 35,000 SEK or $5,500 USD to go and travel to Asia and rate beaches for 4 weeks…. Damn, I completely picked the WRONG career!

Flight to Asia: 7,000 SEK return
    Hotels/Hostels: 200 SEK a night
    Partying it up nightly: Priceless.
    For everything else, theres Arbetsformedlingen.

  2. Happy All Fools Day or April Fool’s Day everyone! I mean seriously this is a joke right? If not, I need to get to writing my resume :)

  3. I have obviously picked the wrong career too!

Ana, who knows… it’s posted on the work board of Sweden’s website!!

  4. WOW!!! This sounds GREAT!!!
But I’m guessing the job is only for Swedish citizens or at least people fluent in Swedish?

Also, I wonder if the magazine pays your living expenses, travel fare etc….
(although the salary would suffice, I believe!)

    great!

  5. Sounds like a blast!

Cape Town? nc,nc,nc… Sure it’s a beautiful place, but we got lots of nice places for people to visit. And the water is so cold there as well..

Ah Ana if you get it, you better learn how to swear in Afrikaans, start with learning “Jou ma se…” Coloured people use that a lot :)

  6. Just found this blog and I LOVE it. Omg I’m laughing my ass off.
Everything you write is so true! I grew up in Sweden but live in NYC now, so I can relate to both “worlds” and it is hilarious! You just made my day (and my blog list a little longer) Keep up the good work.
