I have been playing Russian Roulette a lot this year, maybe more than I should have. Although I feel the barrel is loaded with five bullets instead of one. Maybe that is just life, things don’t work at all as planned. Or hoped. Or dreamed of.
So now, I take a moment to go over my wins and losses this year playing with the barrel myself or due to Loki (more on Nordic mythology later) trying to screw with me.

Wins:

A month in Iceland and Stockholm and meeting wonderful friends
Photos that were licensed by Mastercard Priceless
A photo gig of a hockey player in Stockholm, Sweden
Driving 3200 miles in a car, by myself around the eastern seaboard of the United States
Being a photographer at my best friend’s wedding
Driving 1200 kilometers by myself in Iceland (in 26 hours)

Losses:

A job due to an injury
An ex (but that is probably a good thing…)
Seeing everyone around get married and having kids and then telling me, “don’t worry, you’ll meet someone.” Fuck you, I know that!

Nothing related, but something entertaining
